Kelly Jensen — "My name is Kelly Jensen. I am originally from Wimberly, Texas. I am 23 years old and have been an active member of Crested Butte Mountain Theatre since 2003. I have been a member of the Board of Directors for a little over a year [since 2006]. My role in the theatre continues to be on the technical side of things. I design lights and sound for a lot of productions throughout the year. I also recently started coordinating Crested Butte's yearly Mardi Gras celebration. Aside from the theatre, I am also a volunteer DJ at our local radio station KBUT. There, I host a show every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. as well as give my time in other volunteer capacities. My occupation is very seasonal. Mostly I do custom boot-fitting at a local ski shop here in town. In the summertime it varies. I am involved in CBMT because I want to promote arts in this valley and will continue to do so while I am a resident of this community. I view the arts as a necessity for a healthy community." Kelly Jensen is a recent addition to the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre Board (2006) and has been heavily involved with CBMT productions since 2003.
